I remember the first time I heard about Mike Dillard, was through Ann Seig and Mike Klinger. Thats been several months ago now. What have I learned about Mike Dillard? He is a guy who started out like most network marketers, with very little. He started in Network Marketing as a freshman in college. He says he was extremely shy and had very little confidence. I can relate to the having "little confidence" but not being so shy. Except when picking up the phone to talk to prospects for my business I become very shy.
Mike tells us he drove his upline crazy by asking endless questions and he also avoided calling his prospects. That almost seems the "norm" as we start out in the business. Like Mike I have been on so many training calls, gone to many special events pertaining to my business. I have an extensive library of books, cd's, and podcasts. Tried many different lead sources and like Mike, again doing whatever I could to avoid calling on prospects.
In reading Mikes "Magnetic Sponsoring" I finally admitted that the problem was "me".
How can I put blame on something else or someone else when its me who is the problem. It's me!
My biggest problem has been spending so much time on all the offers that come in to my different email accounts and spending money on these offers, that I never quite made the goals that I had placed for myself with my business.
Now that I have the "Magnetic Sponsoring" ebook, "Building on a Budget" and "WWN" by Mike Dillard I can honestly tell you things are looking up for me. Placing ads, sending traffic to these sites and gaining prospects as well as the confidence to contact these prospects. The best part is these systems will work for any business, not just network marketing.
Before learning about Mike Dillard I have to tell you I created alot of unnecessary debt and lost friendships because they were sure I only wanted to use them to gain money. Not true. I am sure it seemed that way to some as I was doing what I was told to do and I am finding out now that that is not the way to do this business. We want prospects to come to us because we can help them.
